Infinium, Hybrio & ReCyko - the next generation of rechargeable batteries
For the eco friendly generation.
Standard rechargeable batteries add to your carbon footprint because they don't retain their charge, a fully charged standard Ni-Mh battery, if not used, will lose its charge is less than 4 weeks, this means if you charge them and don't use them you have to charge them again to use them, or keep them on constant charge.
Both methods add to your carbon footprint.
"Next generation batteries solve this problem, not only are they supplied fully charged, but once used and then charged again they will, if unused, retain up to 85% of their charge for up to a year.
Less electricity used, more environmentally friendly.
Batteries become even more Eco-Friendly
2008 says goodbye to C and D rechargeable batteries.
All the major battery makers have ceased production of these sizes.
With modern NiMh battery technology its now possible to pack a bigger "punch" into a smaller case, with the environment in mind they have opted to produce converters instead.
These are dummy battery cases either C or D size which accept a AA battery.
Now instead of buying lots of different sized batteries, you buy one size AA and use the converters
Less waste, more eco friendly
