For UK customers, even with the packaging and other associated costs I incur, I am able to offer you discounted postage rates which are in nearly all cases (except some large letters) less than you would pay to post the same package yourself. As you know, Royal Mail postage is becoming increasingly expensive and complicated, with size restrictions, large letter and packet categories and various weightbands. (And overseas postage costs have increased substantially in many cases this year because of the changes that the Royal Mail have made to the way that international rates are calculated). I will always use the best method allowed or suited to your purchase. I only send small pieces of fabric at large letter rate for example as I think it preferable with larger purchases or pieces of fabric not to over-fold items in order to get the parcel into the smaller category! I am also able to post UK parcels up to 2 kilos by 2nd class post which will usually greatly reduce postage costs for you.... if you have the patience to wait a little longer for your items! I will always work with you to get your item to you for the least cost, so do contact me if you have any postage requests or queries.

Please also note that because of the way that the Royal Mail postage rates are calculated and the eBay system works, it is almost impossible to automatically calculate correct postage for multiple purchase orders. For this reason, I recommend that you request your total after committing to buy and I will then send an invoice with the correct (usually reduced) combined postage total as soon as possible for you. However, if you do pay me without doing this, don't worry, as any combined postage overpayments are always refunded to you soon after payment has been made.
